He kinda reminded me of Elizabeth Holmes, the CEO of Theranos which ran a blood testing scam. Both of them relied on having a very likeable personality to win over customers who had no idea what they were getting in return for forking over their hard earned cash. To be honest, the instructor for fast.ai wasn’t anywhere near as smooth as Siraj but I’ve always found it easier, at least when it comes to learning programming, to trust scrappy and somewhat awkward geeks rather than a smooth talker
