I think you’re one of the few people who have a balanced view of Tim Ferriss. I think he genuinely wants to teach as many people to replicate his four hour work week as possible but a society that runs on ppl working 4 hours a week isn’t sustainable without a drastic breakthrough in robotics and AI. Unfortunately, I don’t think he would be where he is today if he didn’t name his book the Four Hour Work Week even though I think it’s outright misleading. That doesn’t mean that book is worthless either; there’s plenty of valuable lessons on productivity, goal setting, and going against the flow that I’ve applied to better my own life but at the same time, I do realize that it’s not a magic bullet and Tim probably has a much higher work ethic than I do in reality.
