Probably best to find productivity gurus with families but even then, they’ll probably give advice like hire a nanny or outsource as much as you can, which they can afford to due to their revenues from their productivity blog or channel. But it’s still better than giving up.

On a related note, one time I was reading this guru on finding a better job. He had this massive guide written but one of the most important steps in there was networking by doing informational interviews. So I approached him on Twitter and asked him how do I get out of my situation when I have a 1 hour commute each way to a job that takes up 9 hours of my day and I’m desperately trying to escape it and don’t have any network nor any time left to network. His response: find a job closer to home. Really? I thought you said I need to network to find a job which takes precious time out of my day. This shows that he has no clue and probably copied the idea of doing informational interviews from all the other career gurus.
