Then please let it die along with the cesspool of a commute most of us had to endure for decades.

It'll free up trillions of dollars to be invested into far more interesting and society-changing projects.

Plus, the offices can be converted into apartments or hirise condos, offsetting the astronomical increases in housing costs contributing to the increase in cost of living and the growing rich-poor divide.

I fail to see how this is a bad thing for society, at least in the long run. I'm cheering for this and I hope to never have to step into an office for the rest of my career.
